STORY: MISSING A BOAT

STORY: MISSING A BOAT

Traditionally, a naval ship’s purpose is to serve and bring glory to king and country. In order to do this, every ship needs to be manned by a captain and a crew. Each person has his own specific and individual duties that are necessary for the ship’s daily function. The ship’s success will be determined by the captain’s focus, leadership and preparedness and the crew’s training, eagerness and dedication. Ships that fail to reach their objectives are usually captained by a man seeking personal glory, or occupied by a mutinous crew. Every ship is given missions for the glory of king and country. Some will be accomplished solo and some as part of the fleet. On their return home, great rewards and decorations await those ships that successfully complete their missions.
A church is like a ship of the navy. Its purpose is to serve and bring glory to God in Heaven.
God has commanded us to board one of His ships and become a member of the crew (we are directed to find a church that is fulfilling its spiritual missions and use our spiritual gifts to help that ship reach its objectives). There will come a day, when we are in Heaven, where everyone is applauding the successful missions of certain ships (churches). Let’s make sure that we aren’t one of the regretful people saying, ‘I could have been aboard that ship and been part of their successful spiritual assignments. But alas, I didn’t want to get my feet wet or risk leaving the comfort and safety of the harbour.’

STORY: BEAUTIFUL BLESSINGS

captureSTORY: BEAUTIFUL BLESSINGS
One day a very wealthy father took his son to a very humble farm home. The father wanted the son to see and appreciate everything they have. For the son was never near poverty. The father decided to spend one day and one night with his son at this very humble home. On the next day after spending the night and returning to their beautiful mansion. The father wanted to hear his son’s reaction towards the educating trip.
Father: So son what do you think about the trip. Did you see how poor people live?
Son: Yes father.
Father: What do you think? What have you learned from this trip?
Son: I have learned that they have four dogs and we only have one. I have learned that we have a small garden and they have an entire forest. I have learned that we have a small stream on our back yard and they have a full river that has no end. I have learned that our back yard goes to the end of our property and they have an entire horizon. I have learned that we have lamps on our back yard to keep us from the dark and they have the stars. The son continues his reply and said: Thank you father for showing me how poor we really are. We sometimes don’t realize the blessings of our heavenly father. And that is why we need to be like kids in order to enter into heaven. (Luke 18:17)
Lets not worry about what we have or what we need, have faith in God and he will provide. (Luke 12:22)

STORY: SLEEP WHEN THE WIND BLOWS

waveSTORY: SLEEP WHEN THE WIND BLOWS

Year ago a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast. He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic. They dreaded the awful storms that raged across the Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.
As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received a steady stream of refusals. Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached the farmer.
“Are you a good farm hand?” the farmer asked him.
“Well, I can sleep when the wind blows,” answered the little man. Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help, hired him.
The little man worked well around the farm, busy dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the man’s work. Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore. Jumping out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed next door to the hired hand’s sleeping quarters.
He shook the little man and yelled,”Get up! A storm is coming! Tie things down before they blow away!” The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly,”No sir. I told you, I can sleep when the with blows.”
Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him on the spot. Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm. To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had been covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, the chickens were in the coops, and the doors were barred. The shutters were tightly secured. Everything was tied down. Nothing could blow away. The farmer then understood what his hired hand meant, so he returned to his bed to also sleep while the wind blew.
Can you sleep when the wind blows? When you’re prepared SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, and PHYSICALLY, you have nothing to fear.

WEEKLY BAM MEETING

richpoorWeekly BAM Meeting

Start with thanksgiving. Recite with the memory verses one by one Then Coach Arthur share with us about the difference between RICH people and POOR people, First the Rich people concern about their health rather than Poor People, Poor people do eat a lot of everything healthy and non-healthy food. Second Rich is Never Stop Learning they keep on searching, reading and attending seminars while Poor is don’t want it ,they want to watch TV with with chips , playing games they don’t want to learn more. Third Rich do Exercise daily to make them healthier and physically fit while Poor are not, after waking up in the morning they go watch TV and lay down on the sofa. Forth Rich people don’t want gossip, they don’t care what is your personal problem is but they do lift you up,  they want to help, Poor people is do much more gossip think they make you down. And lastly, Rich People do Charity to other people while Poor is they think they are Poorer, they don’t do charity because they think they are Poorest. Bible says in Proverbs 23: 7 “As a man thinketh in his heart , so he is”.. if you think you are poor, then you are.. change our thinking to the best positive one that may have good outcome to your life.

STORY : THE MOUNTAIN CLIMBER

1STORY : THE MOUNTAIN CLIMBER

They tell the story of a mountain climber who, desperate to conquer the Aconcagua, initiated his climb after years of preparation. But he wanted the glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. He started climbing and it was becoming later, and later. He did not prepare for camping, but decided to keep on going.Soon it got dark. Night fell with heaviness at a very high altitude. Visibility was zero. Everything was black. There was no moon, and the stars were covered by clouds. As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. Falling rapidly he could only see blotches of darkness that passed. He felt a terrible sensation of being sucked in by gravity. He kept falling… and in those anguishing moments good and bad memories passed through his mind. He thought certainly he would die.But then he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half. Yes! Like any good mountain climber he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist. In those moments of stillness, suspended in the air he had no other choice but to shout: “HELP ME GOD. HELP ME!”All of a sudden he heard a deep voice from heaven… “What do you want me to do?””SAVE ME.””Do you REALLY think that I can save you?””OF COURSE, MY GOD.””Then cut the rope that is holding you up.”
There was another moment of silence and stillness. The man just held tighter to the rope. The rescue team says that the next day they found a frozen mountain climber hanging strongly to a rope…
TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND.How about you? How trusting are you in that rope? Why don’t you let it go? I tell you, God has great and marvelous things planned for you.CUT THE ROPE AND SIMPLY TRUST IN HIM.
