Official Registration TTN Ministry Philippines … update

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”

Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

As I am recovering from my 10K run I received some emails in which people were asking how the registration of TTN Ministry Philippines is going?

Thanks for asking .. really appreciate that!
😘😘 It is nice to have people that are living with us here. 👍👍

At the moment we are still working on filing and preparing the paperwork that needs to be done. I am working on writing the constitution and by laws. It is getting there .. maybe need 1 more month. Once that is done it is just a matter of getting it signed by board members and submitting the papers. Once we submit the papers it most likely will take another 3 months .. unless some papers are not approved or accepted than it will take longer, however, I don’t expect to many problems.

I will keep you posted. For those who are praying
🙏 .. please pray for wisdom so all papers are done correctly the first time, so nothing has to be corrected or adjusted.

Thanks for making a difference and changing lives.

Lots of love from the Philippines.

Finished my 10K running race

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 NKJV

Sunday June 16 @ 5:15am I was part of a 10K race. It was a huge event in Puerto Princesa City. Have been training very hard and was curious how I would do. It was the day of reality. The Bible says that we will reap what we sow. The same applies with running .. if you neglected training and skipped some days … this is the time you will notice it.

Many runners started fast but after 1k-2k you could scrape them from the floor. It was a good day for me. I finished 7th in the run and reached my time I have been training for. I was 11 seconds faster than aimed for and got a personal best. So needless to say I was very happy and pleased. I got what I trained for.

However, many people were disappointed because they didn't reach their time. It was slower than they hoped for. You see I think that is how it will be too with most of us Christians. God has given us gifts and talents, but what do we do with the gifts and talents God has given us? If we don't use what God has given us and develop them through training, study and hard work, how can we expect to have a big reward in heaven. Yes we will saved and go to heaven. That is not the issue. The issue is after you got saved, what are you doing with the gifts and talents God has given you? If you are not willing to train yourself and improve your gifts and talents, you are like these runners that didn't train but expected to be #1. Sorry to say but that is not going to happen.

This reminds me of a quote: "Hard work beats talent, if talent is not willing to work hard." You see when I get to heaven I want Jesus to say "good and faithful servant" Matt. 25:23. Be sure to develop and use your talents. Run your race in such a way that you may obtain it and don't waste a minute in your life doing that what is not profitable.

Thanks again for supporting these kids in the Philippines with their studies. You are making a difference in their life. Thanks for giving them hope (www.touchingthenations.com).

Lots of love from the Philippines.

Running 10K Race this Sunday!!!

This coming Sunday June 16 @ 5:15am I will be running a 10K race. There will be probably a few thousand runners. It is a huge event in Puerto Princesa City. I have been training very hard and looking forward to see the results of all the hard work.

This run is reminding me of 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 .. we all run in a race .. every person has a life and has a race to run. Something to accomplish. God created every person to do something with their life.

The apostle Paul says we should be running in a way to obtain the price .. now here is my question .. what are you doing in your life to obtain the price? What are you doing with your life to win the price.

How are you living your life? Just wasting the gift God has given you? What are you doing with the gift God has given you? Developing it? Working on making it grow?
For me personally as you maybe know .. I want to support 1000 kids (
www.touchingthenations.com) with their studies .. so they can finish their elementary and high school studies .. and have a future.

What are you doing with your life? When you die and Jesus asks you .. what did you do with your life? What is your answer going to be?

Don't waste your life .. Life is so precious … don't waste a minute working towards what God has called you to do. Run your race in a way to obtain the price. Don't waste your life with being busy with the perishable stuff but instead run your race to obtain the imperishable crown.

Lots of love from the Philippines,

Yippee! Tap water is coming back again …

"Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."

Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

Yippee!!! Water is starting to come back again. As rainy season is approaching and we are starting to get rain .. water is returning in our taps again.

We have been almost 1 month without water. Jesus calling Himself living water … hmm interesting .. we only had to live 1 month without water and that was hard. Not possible to live without water. The same applies to Jesus .. we can't live without Jesus. We need Jesus in everything we do.

What a blessing to have water again .. as I was preparing to run a 10k race at 4am .. I noticed around 2am that water was starting to flow. So before running the race we were busy filling buckets with water. Good warming up!

Made it on time for the 10k .. Runs are always done here around 4am because it is too hot to run during day light. See picture of me at starting line. I am the white guy .. the light bulb with orange neon shirt. It was good to join the 10k run. It is good to have regular exercise. God's word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19 "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" Therefore we better take good care of our bodies. What we eat and get regular exercise.

Thanks for continued faithful support of our Support A Child Program. If you know anyone who would be interested in supporting some kids .. let them know. I have a waiting list of 100 kids that is waiting for support.

Lots of Love from the Philippines.

24 Days .. still no water

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

It has been now 24 days ago that we had water (since Monday April 22). It rained here a few days so we had water for a few days but there is nothing in the tap again. It is a little like this picture here .. time of joy and than .. oh noooo … the good thing is we are arriving at the end of dry season here in the Philippines (May). As June is arriving we are entering into rainy season (June – November).

God has been very good .. we found a place about 30-40 minutes drive from where we live where we can get water .. after we pick up water it is time to use our muscles.. I live on the 2nd floor, so we have to carry up the water in buckets … Good for the leg muscles .. and helps me to stay fit.

If you have problems with your weight maybe consider coming to the Philippines. I have some great ways to get you in shape .. hahaha …

To my faithful supporters have a favor to ask you .. do you have any suggestions how to spread Support A Child program? At the moment I have a list with 100 kids waiting for support. TTN eventually wants to support 1,000 kids through SUPPORT A CHILD and make a difference. Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas how I can inform and spread SUPPORT A CHILD ministry?

Until next time. Thanks for being part of this ministry.
God bless,
Arthur Peter

4 Days without water

As I am sitting here at my desk and pondering what to write I am reminded of the following passage.

“Yes speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” Proverbs 31:9 (NLT)

It has been now 4 days ago that we had water (since Monday April 22). The water district says they are out of water and not sure when they will have water again. Not sure if you ever experienced being out of water for 4 days, but I can tell you it is not pleasant.

Although there has not been a day in my life I regret being a missionary in the Philippines. I sometimes get frustrated with the lack of interest to help.

You see I don’t care about the lack of water here. It is worth it. Being able to help people and change a life. Biggest passion and desire I have is to help 1000 kids with their education. For only $12.50 / month we can help a child and give them a future.

Although I moved here about 15 years ago there is not much I can do if people are not willing to give money. That is why today I am pleading the cause of the poor. For only $25 per month you can help 2 kids and give them a future.

If you are honest .. what is $25 per month? Reach out and touch somebodies life. For more info go to

Let us make a difference and appreciate your help.

17 Days … still no water

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”

Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

It has been now 17 days ago that we had water (since Monday April 22). The water district says they have a shortage of water right now. Do you know what the funny thing is … the water district is my neighbor. Literary my neighbor. Their office and water tank is next door. So I can see everything outside of my window what they are doing. The truth is they closed the connections of all in this area and connected a new water pipe that is pumping all the water to a big business just around the corner. Most likely the company paid a bribe to the one in charge. That is the way things go here. Sad but true …

Hope you never have to experience being out of water that long, but not having water for so long helps you to start seeing things in perspective. What is really important? What is life really about? What are you doing with your life? Is what you are doing counting for eternity? Is it contributing?

I hear so many people complaining about things that are not important. Instead we have so many things to be thankful for. If you have enough money to pay your bills, you are better off than 95% people in the world. You have food on the table. You are luckier than 90% of the people in the world.

I see so many people being distracted in life and so busy with things that are not important. Jesus said He is the living water .. without water we will die. Be sure to not waste a minute of your life .. life is too short to miss a minute being off focus. Live a life focused on fulfilling your goals in life. Fulfilling the dream God has given you. Fulfilling the purpose why God created you.

For me that is supporting 1,000 kids with their studies so they have a future and don’t have to dig in the garbage bins to make a living. To make this possible I am looking for 500 supporters who can give $25 p/m and help these kids to finish their studies. Reach out and touch somebodies life and make a difference. For more info visit
www.touchingthenations.com or email me at info@ttnministry.com

Let us make a difference and spend our money on that what is important.
Really appreciate your help.
Lots of love,
